Hands on & on ground leadership
Gabriel Katebian and Sam Abou-Khater established Cedar Catering & Refrigeration, now known as Cedar Hospitality, in Brunswick almost 30 years ago.
They got their start selling tableware and other simple catering supplies out of a corner shop. In 1995, cousins Peter Campese and Danny Katebian took over the company from their father and uncle. As they expanded their network throughout Melbourne, they hit the road.
Cedar Hospitality moved from its modest beginnings at the intersection of Michael Street and Sydney Road in Brunswick to one of the country’s largest showrooms, spanning 18,000 square meters.
In the interim, they have expanded their product line to include services for restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, bars, nightclubs, health care facilities, senior living facilities, events, and the general public.
